Abstract:Introduction: Clindamycin is a lincosamide antibiotic that is effective against streptococci, staphylococci, and anaerobic bacteria. Though it predominantly undergoes hepatic metabolism, no dose adjustments are recommended for patients with hepatic dysfunction.
