Abstract:Alveolar bone loss resulting from periodontal disease ultimately leads to tooth loss. Periodontal ligament mesenchymal stem cells (PDLMSCs) serve as the tissue-specific cells responsible for maintaining and repairing the periodontal ligament, cementum, and alveolar bone.
