Abstract: BackgroundMelanoma differentiation associated gene 5 antibody (anti-MDA5) dermatomyositis, is an idiopathic inflammatory musculoskeletal disorder with specific phenotypic manifestations of rapidly progressing interstitial lung disease (RP-ILD) and ulcerative skin lesions, with or without muscle involvement.
