Porous zinc-discs as nanocatalysts for methylene blue dye treatment in water: sensing, adsorption and photocatalytic degradation

Abstract: Herein, we demonstrate multiutility zinc-based porous disc particles as a nano-catalyst, for highly sensitive detection, adsorption, and photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue up to ∼95% MB within 70 min of ultra-violet irradiation treatment.
