Abstract: The incidence of benign obstructive central airway disease has been increasing. There are several causes for this type of obstruction. The most common appears after orotracheal intubation and post-tracheotomy. The diagnosis of tracheal stenosis requires clinical suspicion and complementary diagnostic tests.
