“…Approximately 30–50 mg of dried plant tissue and a 3‐mm tungsten bead were frozen using liquid nitrogen for 30 s and ground using a Retsch MM200 Tissue Lyser grinding mill (QIAGEN, Valencia, California, USA). Total genomic DNA was extracted from the leaf tissue using QIAGEN DNeasy Plant Mini Kits (QIAGEN) following manufacturer's instructions as described in Shapcott et al (2015).
