“…Based on the average wind speed variation of the 57 meteorological stations along the Bohai Sea, the average wind speed in each year and each season during 1971-2012 was found to have decreased significantly in the coastal area of the Bohai Sea (Guo et al, 2015). Tide gauge and satellite altimeter data have shown that the sea level in the Bohai Sea increased by approximately 3-4 mm/a between 1980 and 2015 (Cheng et al, 2016;Liu et al, 2017;Yang et al, 2018). Since the middle of the 20th century, the runoff and sediment discharge of the Yellow River have also exhibited significant decreasing trends.…”
