“…For the case core−shell SPN@PAM and SPN-PAM, the presence of PAM was proven by the appearance of strong peaks at 1640.65 and 1612.99 cm −1 , which can be attributed to amidic CO stretching vibration and N−H bending vibration, respectively. 34 Additionally, the broad peak at 3000−3500 cm −1 due to the stretching vibration of N−H groups also indicated the presence of PAM.…”

“…The magnetic behavior of Fe 3 O 4 ‐CNT and Fe 3 O 4 ‐CNT‐SO 3 H were assessed by VSM at room temperature. The curves in Figure indicate that the values of the saturation magnetization of Fe 3 O 4 ‐CNT and Fe 3 O 4 ‐CNT‐SO 3 H (39.04 and 24.09 emu g −1 , respectively) are below that of Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles (61.60 emu g −1 ) which are pertinent to the presence of nonmagnetic species such as CNT and SO 3 H groups in the nanocomposite. Nevertheless, the catalyst can still be quickly and efficiently disengaged from the reaction system by an outer magnetic force.…”

“…[40] As can be seen, the amount of organic moieties bonded on the surface of the MNPs is relatively high, which indicates the successful construction of the dendrimer on the surface. [42] A closer inspection of the TGA curve of MNP@PAMAM-Co shows slightly lower thermal stability after the immobilization of cobalt, which can be due to the interaction of the cobalt species with the ligands [43] and the catalytic effect of them in the decomposition of the dendritic structure. “…[41] The final weight loss (about 630-680°C) is attributed to the degradation of the PVAm polymer chains. [44] However, this thermal stability is very acceptable for the catalytic application in C-C coupling reactions, which are carried out at high temperatures.…”
