“…The broad peak at 3432 cm −1 for all the samples originates from the adsorbed water molecules. After modification of CNTCOOH with EDA, the band at 1570 cm −1 is attributed to the bending vibrations of N―H units of EDA . Also, the bands in 2857 to 2908 cm −1 originate from the vibration of C―H groups and confirm attachment of EDA units to nanotubes .…”

“…Successful grafting of CTA at the surface of CNC is proven by a strong carbonyl band at 1635 cm −1 . In comparison with the spectrum of CNC, CNC‐ g ‐CTA shows an increase in CH stretching vibration area at 2850–2980 cm −1 , which can be ascribed to the methylene groups of CTA moieties . As a result of polymer grafting at the surface of CNC, the hydroxyl band area at 3030–3680 cm −1 is decreased .…”

“…FTIR results show that alkoxysilane‐modified polyurethane‐imide samples (PUBD and PUI) were successfully synthesized . GO shows some characteristic bands at 3436, 1702, 1642, 1228, and 874–1228 cm −1 ascribed to the stretching vibrations of hydroxyl, carboxyl, C=C, C−O, and oxirane groups, respectively . After modification of GO with APTES, the two peaks at 2864 and 2930 cm −1 are assigned to the symmetric and asymmetric stretching vibrations of methylene groups, respectively.…”
