Polymyositis Complicated With Complete Atrioventricular Block: A Case Report and Literature Review

Abstract: Background: Cardiac involvement in polymyositis is often asymptomatic. Electrocardiogram (ECG) remains a cornerstone for the screening of conduction disturbances and other electrocardiographic abnormalities. Case presentation: We report the case of a 35 year-old-woman with polymyositis complicated with a complete atrioventricular block 10 years after the beginning of her symptoms.
