Reena Rai,
Harshitha Srinivasan

Abstract: Polymorphous light eruption (PMLE) is the most common, immunologically acquired photo-dermatosis due to delayed hypersensitivity reaction to sunlight. It presents with recurrent, pruritic, non-scarring lesions of distinct morphology affecting the sun-exposed body parts. This review article focuses on immunopathogenesis, clinical features, and treatment option of PMLE.
