Abstract:This article presents the results of the case-control study in the city of São Paulo, that examined the association of the polymorphisms in the genes ERα-PvuII and ERα-XbaI with the risk of high mammographic density after menopause. The associations of these polymorphisms with other risk factors for breast cancer were also evaluated.
