Abstract: Background: antigen-processing machinery molecules play crucial roles in infectious diseases and cancers. Studies have shown that variants in endoplasmic reticulum aminopeptidase (ERAP) genes can influence the enzymatic activity of ERAP proteins and are associated with the risk of cancers.
