Abstract:Polymorphism‐dependent cytotoxicity and cellular uptake of drug molecules have been studied for the past two decades. However, visualizing the polymorph‐dependent cellular uptake and cytotoxicity using microscopy imaging technique has not been reported yet. The luminescent polymorph is an ideal candidate to validate the above hypothesis. Herein, we report the polymorph‐dependent cellular uptake, cytotoxicity, and bio‐imaging functions of polymorphs 1Y and 1R of a naphthalimide‐phenothiazine dyad. These polymor… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
