Polymeric phthalocyanines and their precursors, 4. Optimization of electrochemical properties of polyphthalocyanine modified titanium electrodes

Abstract: Polyphthalocyanine (1) coatings on titanium foils were prepared by in situ synthesis starting from 1,2,4,5-tetracyanobenzene (3). In order to optimize the electrochemical activity of the polymer modified electrodes several parameters, e.g. pretreatment of Ti-foils, amount of 3, reaction temperature and time were varied.
