Polygons and Faceted Polyhedra and Nanoporous Networks

“…metal atoms) on the reaction energy barrier. The acid stability, alkali stability, thermal stability, light stability and hydrolysis stability of the catalyst will be studied in depth in the future work.Up to now,six M-HKUST-1 (M = Mo [68], Cr [69], Cu [47], Fe [70], Ru [71],and Zn [72] ) have been experimentally available.Yet, only the parent Cu-HKUST-1 has been used in laboratory to catalyze the CO 2 fixation by aziridines. Moreover, for the first time, eleven M-HKUST-1(M = Rh, Y, Sc, V, Tc, Cd, Ti, Mn, Zn, Ag and Zr) were shown to exhibit better catalytic performance than Cu-HKUST-1.…”

“…The magnetic data of 1 and 2 are displayed as thermal variation χ M versus T. The variable temperature magnetisation of [Cu 2 (O 2 CR) n ] compound has been studied in some depth. [23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30] The χ M T versus T plot has a value of 0.41 cm 3 mol −1 K and 0.52 cm 3 mol −1 K in 1 and 2, respectively, which is slightly larger than the spin-only value (0.375 cm 3 mol −1 K) for S = 1/2 per formula unit. As the temperature was lowered, the χ M T values of 1 and 2 decreased, indicating typical antiferromagnetic behaviour.…”

“…102 104 The crystal structure has been determined for the accidentally isolated compound [Zn 6 (SC 6 F 5 ) 10 (bppae) 2 ]. 107 The new cyanato-bridged polymeric complex, [Cd 3 (NCO) 6 (NH 2 CH 2 C 5 H 4 N) 3 ] n , has been prepared and structurally characterised. 105 The crystal structure for {[Zn 2 (1,3-bdc) 2 (py) 2 ] 4 } n shows the nanometre-scale secondary building units [Zn 2 (1,3-bdc) 2 (py) 2 ], four of which combine to form the bowl-shaped units {[Zn 2 (1,3-bdc) 2 (py) 2 ] 4 } which resemble calixarenes, and which self-assemble to form an undulating two-dimensional sheet network that contains benzene and pyridine moieties as guests.…”
