Polyesteramide resin from PET waste and fatty amide

Abstract: Purpose – The purpose of this paper is synthesis of polyesteramide resin from jatropha oil and monomer from recycling of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) to get the excellent benefit of individual structure. Along with the synthesis of polyesteramide resin, this research work will also help in recycling of PET waste and help for the conversion of monomer obtained from recycling of PET to value-added application. Design/methodology/approach … Show more

“…one of the types is biomass waste (Kang and Schoenung, 2005;More et al, 2014b;Patil and Pokhrel, 2005;Garg et al, 2006) The recycling of waste materials reduces their accumulation, reduce water and oil contamination, its disposal issue gets reduced and provides the business to the huge sector of people as well as value added materials can be synthesised in a few cases from the same (Garg et al, 2006;Park and Kim, 2014). The product obtained from polymeric waste recycling already finds application in the coating (More et al, 2014a).…”

“…used for resin synthesis, the leaf extract such as neem leaves extract has been used for anticorrosive application. The products obtained from plant resources also used for antimicrobial application in the coating (More et al, 2014a;Ahmad et al, 2007;Sharma et al, 2015;Amitha Rani and Basu, 2012;Ponce et al, 2008). Along with the pure plant application the waste mass obtained from the plant also has enriched chemical components.…”
