“…DAPV on SWCNTs/ITO was prepared by acid−base complex formation reaction. The degree of formation of DAPV layers on the ITO surface is strongly dependent on the soaking time of substrate, temperature, and solvent. ,, Especially, the soaking time of substrate in diamine molecular solution has a strong influence upon formation of SAMs of diamine on ITO. ,, When ITO substrate is immersed in diamine solution for less than 1 min, the level of formation of diamine molecules on ITO is very minimal, and DAPVs are adsorbed mainly on SWCNTs.…”

“…The aqueous phase measurements were carried out under nitrogen conditions. In order to calculate the concentration of DAPV, phosphomolybdic acid (HPA, H 3 PMo 12 O 40 ) was adsorbed on the amine layers in a 1 mM HPA/0.1 M HCl solution at room temperature for 10 min by formation of an acid−base complex. , Then the excess HPA was carefully washed out with 0.1 M HCl solution several times. Cyclic voltammetry was performed with well-cleaned bare ITO in a 0.1 M HCl solution as electrolyte to obtain a baseline as a blank test.…”

“…The 0.1 mM concentration of the mixed electrolyte solution allowed the formation of ionic bilayer on the PEM-modified electrode surface with appropriate coverage. Furthermore, polypropylviologen (PPVG), which is a conjugated polymer, was used as a positive polyelectrolyte instead of PEI, which allowed charge-selective electrode construction and good matching to the energy levels of the ionic redox species, as shown in the SI Scheme S2 . As shown in Figure a, an RR of ∼10 (that showed a stable RR after 200 cycles, Figure b) is much higher than that of the (PEI/PAA) n -modified ITO electrode.…”

“…For this reason, organic photovoltaic cells (OPCs) have been attractive devices as next-generation substitute energy sources [1-4]. At present, the performance of OPCs has been reported up to power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 10% and above [5,6].…”
