Abstract:Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a complex and heterogeneous endocrine disorder, whose prevalence in women varies from 6 to 10% in the reproductive period. It can lead to health complications, such as menstrual dysfunction, infertility, hirsutism, acne and metabolic syndrome.
