Abstract: Background Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common endocrinopathies among reproductive women. Cardinal manifestations of PCOS include hyperandrogenism, oligo/anovulation and/or polycystic ovarian morphology. Affected women often display notable metabolic co-morbidities.
