“…HCl was chosen for subsequent production of all the nanocarbon composites. Left column images of figure 2 shows the SEM micrographs of as produced PAni based composites, which present a nanofibrilar structure, as expected [15][16][17], which is more defined for HR-CNF and GO, figure 2(i) and figure 2(m) micrograph, respectively. Next column shows the SEM images of processed composite casted films, showing differences in rugosity depending on the nanofiller, presenting HR-CNF and GO composites the smoother surface, and CNx based one the more wavy texture.…”

“…PAni-composites were synthetized in-situ by interfacial polymerization, which requires the organic phase containing the monomer (1.95 mL of aniline in 50 mL of toluene) and the aqueous phase with the oxidant and an acid [15][16][17] After polymerization, the composites were collected over 0.45 μm pore size membranes under vacuum filtration, and washed with 150 mL of methanol. Finally, the composites were dedoped with 60 mL of 0.2 M NaOH, and further washed three times with 30 mL distilled water, yielding neutral eluate portions at the end.…”

“…A técnica de deposição in-situ consiste em depositar, durante o processo de polimerização da anilina, filmes de PAni sobre diferentes substratos com controle de uniformidade e aderência [15][16][17] . Os microeletrodos de Cr/Au sobre PET, por sua vez, foram preparados a partir de técnicas de litografia convencionais disponíveis na literatura [18,19] .…”

“…ammonium peroxydisulfate [23][24][25] is well characterized, the synthesis of polyaniline using AuCl 4 -is more complex in terms of a mechanistic point of view. Issues such as the final oxidation state of the metal and polymer, degree of proton doping, degree of incorporation of the metal into the polymer matrix, and chemical composition of the polymer have to be addressed.…”
