“…An acid-enhanced evaporation process is generally required for the detection of trace inorganic explosives involving KNO 3 , KClO 3 , and KClO 4 detected by the same method [18]. Raman spectroscopy is one of the techniques better suited for the identification and characterization of analytes due to its unique features, such as high sensitivity, generation of a unique spectroscopic fingerprint, and on-site detection [19][20][21][22]. Moreover, the development of portable Raman spectrometers expands its application to on-site analysis, due to the high cost-effectiveness, rapid analytical speed, and non-destructive detection [23,24].…”

“…The 15% (w/v) CA-AD solutions with different solvent ratios were prepared by dissolving 2.25 g CA into 15 mL mixtures of DMAc and acetone with the acetone-to-DMAc ratio of 2/1, 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8, respectively, under magnetic stirring at 45 • C overnight. For preparing Ag nanoparticles (NPs) dispersed CA solution, Ag-NPs with the edge length ~50 nm were first prepared according to our previously reported procedures [38] and mainly involved the reduction of AgNO 3 by pentanediol in the presence of PVP and NaCl at 155 • C. Then the as-prepared Ag-NPs were re-dispersed in the CA-D solution, followed by a vigorous ultrasonication to obtain a homogeneous solution.…”

“…The SERS effects of Au-NT arrays with different lengths are investigated by selecting R6G as the probe molecules (Fig. 1d), since R6G shows a molecular resonance enhancement when excited at 530 nm [19], which is near the laser used (532 nm) in our work. The main peaks for R6G are assigned to C-C-C ring in-plane bending (612 cm −1 ), C-H out-of-plane bending (773 cm −1 ), C-H in-plane bending (1126 and 1182 cm −1 ), C-O-C stretching (1310 cm −1 ), and aromatic C-C stretching (1360, 1507, 1573 and 1648 cm −1 ) [20].…”
