Previous research mainly focused on the adverse effect of a few priority chemical groups or other target chemicals out of a broad spectrum that turtles can realistically be exposed to (Hermanussen et al, 2008;van de Merwe et al, 2010;Komoroske et al, 2011;Gaus et al, 2012;Keller et al, 2014;Villa et al, 2015).
