Abstract: For pollen analysis, 19 honey samples were collected from different localities in Ereğli, Karapınar, Ayrancı and Ulukışla regions of Konya, Karaman and Ulukışla, respectively, in November 2015. All investigated honey samples were multifloral because they contained secondary and minor pollen groups. “…Melissopalynological analysis of honey is an effective method for providing information about the origin, geographical structure, and quality of the nectar plants sourcing honey. In the following years, melissopalynological examinations of the honey of Türkiye continued (Yurtsever and Sorkun, 2005;Kaya et al, 2005;Erdoğan et al, 2009;Ünal and Sağlam, 2009;Taşkın and İnce 2009;Demir, 2013;Çelemli et al, 2018;Özler, 2018). Similarly, the melissopalynological properties of honey belonging to different plateaus and districts of Rize Province the area of this study were also investigated (Demir, 2011;Derebaşı et al, 2014;Malkoç et al, 2019;Çelemli et al, 2021;Kanbur and Atamov, 2022).…”

“…The first study about the pollen analysis of honey in Turkey was performed by Qustrani in 1976 (Erdoğan et al 2006). Many studies about pollen spectrum of honeys were carried out in the different regions of Turkey (Sorkun and İnceoğlu 1984, Sorkun and Doğan 1995, Doğan and Sorkun 2001, Kaya et al 2005, Erdoğan et al 2006, Silici and Gökçeoğlu 2007, Sorkun 2008, Özler 2015, 2018, Şık et al 2017, Altay et al 2018.…”
