The present volume derivesits inspiration from the papers presented at the 10 th Conferenceofthe International Plutarch Society,titled Space,Time and LanguageinPlutarch'sV isions of Greek Culture: Introversion, Imperial Cosmopolitanism and Other Formso fI nteraction with the Past and Present,which was held at the European Cultural Center at Delphi, 16 -18 May2014.
