This study focuses on the cultural revitalization aspect as an urgent matter in the Indonesia-Malaysia border region, SajinganBesar Sub-district, Sambas Regency. The results of this study can be summarized that the main problem of cultural development in the border region is not only caused by globalization but also concerns on the condition of cultural resilience of the border communities themselves who have experienced stagnation which is from the conditions that are completely and inevitably marginal of Globalization, then it must be anticipated with cultural development that is characterized by the reinforcement of identity and local wisdom of the border community which is used as the basis for arranging strategies in preserving and developing culture. This study used a qualitative approach that was carried out by survey data, observation, analysis and FGD (Forum Group Discussion). This method is very effective for something that is urgent and important and will provide an increase in the welfare of the community whose life is generally less prosperous. Moreover, geopolitically, the cultural revitalization will further ensure the realization of the revitalization policy of the culture of the Indonesian Archipelago in the border region which can create nationalism, and maintain the border region from foreign infiltration as well as become a space for conflict resolution to create peace between countries. This study aims to analyze the sustainability of ecotourism in Bukit Tiga Puluh National Park, Riau Province. This research uses the modified Rapfish - Rapid Appraisal for ecotourism (Rap-ecotourism) method which is based on the Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) approach. The results showed that the sustainability status of ecotourism management in Bukit Tinggi National Park in a multidimensional manner was categorized as quite sustainable. The ecological dimension has a sustainable status with an index value of 91.68. The economic dimension is less sustainable with an index value of 49.88. the socio-cultural dimension has a fairly sustainable status with an index value of 67.38. The legal and institutional dimensions are quite sustainable with an index value of 55.06. The technology infrastructure dimension has a fairly sustainable status with an index value of 56.71. Therefore, the results of this analysis indicate that there is a need for intervention on the attributes that are the main levers so that ecotourism management can be carried out sustainably.

The purpose of this research is the use of land in managing the land and doing environmentally friendly treatment in clearing the land. The method that was carried out by meta-analysis with 175 journal articles related to forest and land fires in Indonesia was then identified to produce an inventory of data for meta-analysis. The results of the research through an independence test between the factors driving fires from anthropogenic activities and the characteristics of fires indicate that the factor of weak law enforcement and protection in land tenure is significantly related to the characteristics of fires. The conclusions from this research are that land use rights must be clear and fair, concession holders have managed their land well and provide sanctions for those who violate the applicable regulations and the importance of developing innovations in clearing and managing peatlands without burning according to needs and providing benefits. economy, especially for small farmers, thereby reducing vertical and horizontal conflicts.
