Abstract:In 2015, the School Feeding Program (PAE) in Chile implemented the program for Celiacs, which offers safe gluten-free rations to students enrolled in the PAE with a diagnosis of celiac disease. However, this measure is not sufficient to ensure adequate nutrition for these children, as the delivery of a basket of gluten-free foods does not guarantee that knowledge is present in their homes to prepare these foods or that caregivers have enough time to prepare the meals.
