Poles position identification of permanent magnet axial flux motor using PIPCRM sensorless method.

Abstract: The paper describes new sensorless method control of an axial flux permanent magnet motor at standstill and at low speed. This sensorless method called PIPCRM (Position Identification by Parallel Current Rate Measurement) was developed to provide sensorless start axial flux permanent magnet motor in demanded direction from standstill.
