“…A colorimetric method for isonicotinoyl hydrazide was based on reaction with sodium ß-l,2-naphthoquinone-4-monosulfonate, sodium carbonate, and hydrazine hydrochloride (67). The absorption was measured at 500 µ. Svoboda (487) reported a simple polarographic method for pvrazinamide; isoniazid does not interfere. Dilute aqueous solutions of ethyleneimine or n-butvlamine react with 1,2-naphthaquinone-4^sulfonate at pH 10.3 to give chloroform-extractable reddish dyes (415).…”
