Polarizing beamsplitter based on the effects of birefringent and resonance anomaly

Abstract: A new kind of polarizing beamsplitters (PBSs) based on the effects of a birefringent and resonance anomaly is presented. Its properties are analyzed using the correct Fourier modal method and the reflective and transmissive coefficient matrix (RTCM) recursion method.
