Abstract:As a traditional manufacturer of drug substance levomepromazine maleate, we were interested in the elaboration of an optimized process that uses the undesired enantiomer dextromepromazine, a waste product from the production of levomepromazine, to recover the starting material 2-methoxyphenothiazine.
