Podoplanin promotes malignancy through a diversity of strategies

Abstract: Podoplanin (PDPN) is a small mucin-like glycoprotein upregulated in a variety of cancers where it can be expressed in tumor as well as in stromal cells, such as cancer associated fibroblasts (CAFs).
