Abstract: Introduction: The term “floating metatarsal” refers to a rare injury pattern characterized by metatarsal dislocation in both the Lisfranc and metatarsophalangeal joints. The term “turf toe” refers to the rupture of the plantar capsular-ligamentous complex of the first metatarsophalangeal joint.
