Pneumoperitoneum, retropneumoperitoneum and pneumomediastinum after stapled hemorrhoidopexy

Abstract: There are several surgical techniques for the treatment of hemorrhoidal disease, the most used currently being stapled hemorrhoidopexy. Complications of this procedure are rare, although they may occur.
