Pneumomediastinum Causing Distortion on Transesophageal Echocardiography as a Result of Tracheal Injury After Sternotomy

Abstract: Fig 2. Echocardiogram of the mitral valve recorded simultaneously with the electrocardiogram and phonocardiogram during held respiration. A dense band of echoes that begins with a prominently recorded click (C) was noted to obscure the normal structures.
