A literature survey indicates that the Pu reaching the circulatory system from occupational exposure may redeposit roughly half in bone and half in liver. For a constant 0.02 pCi 239Pu in bone and 0.02 pCi 239Pu in liver, the 50-yr doses to man are 14 and 57 rads, averaged over these respective organs.
