Abstract:Despite its rare frequency, a pleuroperitoneal communication is a well‐documented complication for patients on peritoneal dialysis. It occurs in ~2% of continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis, with uncertain incidence for those on automated peritoneal dialysis.
