Abstract: Pleospora drammondii spec, nov. and its anamorph Stemphyliam drummondii spec. nov.The causal organism of a leaf spot disease on Phlox drummondii is described as Pleospora drujnmondii spec. nov. and its anamorph Stemphylium drummondii spec. nov. -in contrast to earlier reports from the USA, in which the fungus was identified as S. hotryosum.
