“…The most common histopathological findings include diffuse portal congestion, hepatic sinusoid dilation, hepatocyte degeneration, mild centrolobular fatty change that may involve the whole lobule, polymorphonuclear inflammatory infiltrate and an abundant collection of mononuclear cells around biliary ducts (Ferreira et al 1999, Ferreira andAlmeida 2003).
