Plastid transformation for production of vaccines & therapeutic proteins

Abstract

Paolo Lenzi is currently a postdoctoral scientist at John Innes Centre (Norwich, UK). He used plastid transformation technology to express proteins of interest in plants, focusing his interest mainly in the field of molecular farming. He currently works on the production of veterinary vaccines in plants.
