Plasmonic near-field scanning nanoscope with a cross-polarization detection technique

Abstract: A cross-polarization detection technique was introduced to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of a plasmonic near-field scanning nanoscope (PNSN) using the anisotropic reflection from a metallic ridge nano-aperture.
