Plasmon-Enhanced Optical Probes for Sensing of Drug Metabolite

Abstract: An Au@SiO2 core-shell nanostar structure decorated with quantum dots was designed and synthesized. This structure displays near-infrared fluorescence and the production of reactive oxygen species when excited.
