Plasma profiling-time of flight mass spectrometry: considerations to exploit its analytical performance for materials characterization

Abstract: The combination of pulsed glow discharge (PGD) with time-of-flight mass spectrometry (TOFMS) provides quasi-simultaneous mass spectra of fast transient signals directly from solid materials.
