Plants and fungi metabolites as novel autophagy inducers and senescence inhibitors

Abstract: Premature aging can be partially explained by inefficient autophagy (the process of cellular self-digestion that recycles intracellular components) and premature senescence (cease of cellular division without cell death activation).
