Abstract: Hyperhidrosis is an excessive production of sweat more than the physiological amount necessary to maintain thermal homeostasis. Primary focal hyperhidrosis is a disorder of unknown etiology, causing excessive, bilateral, symmetrical sweating on the soles of the foot is called plantar hyperhidrosis.
