Abstract: Lectins are ubiquitous classes of carbohydrate‐binding proteins. They serve a wide range of physiological functions in Phyto‐organisms. Among many biological significances, they play a crucial role in plant tolerance and resistance against environmental biotic and abiotic challenges.
