Plane wave in non-local semiconducting rotating media with Hall effect and three-phase lag fractional order heat transfer

Abstract: This paper deals with the propagation of the plane wave in a nonlocal magneto-thermoelastic semiconductor solid with rotation. The fractional-order three-phase lag theory of thermoelasticity with two temperatures has been applied. When a longitudinal wave is incident on the surface z = 0, four types of reflected coupled longitudinal waves (the coupled longitudinal displacement wave, the coupled thermal wave, coupled carrier density wave, and coupled transverse displacement wave) are identified. The plane wave … Show more

“…where . ϑ = T. Some other researchers also conducted similar research on the Hall current effect and the semiconductor medium, such as Marin [17], Lata and Kaur [18], Lotfy [19], Mahdy et al [20], Kaur and Singh [21,22], Marin et al [23,24], Kaur et al [25], Bhatti et al [26,27], Othman and Marin [28], Marin et al [29], Craciun et al [30], Lotfy et al [31], and Abouelregal et al [32]. However, from the literature review, it was observed that no work has been carried out in the transient study of semiconductor cylinders exposed to ultrashort pulsed laser heating along with the Hall effect and rotation.…”

“…Alshehri and Lotfy [23] studied the memory-dependent derivative (MDD) for magneto-thermo-plasma semiconductor mediums due to laser pulses with a hyperbolic two-temperature model. Kaur and Singh [24] investigated the plane waves in nonlocal semiconductor rotating mediums with hall effects and fractional three-phase lag. Hobiny and Abbas [25] have discussed the photothermal waves in unbounded semiconductor mediums containing cylindrical holes.…”

“…x , yields Kaur et al [16] examined the semi-conducting solid cylinder exposed to exponential laser pulse with MGTPT and Hall current effect. In addition to these, Gupta et al [17][18][19], Craciun et al [20,21], Kaur and Singh [22,23], Kaur et al [24], Tiwari and Mukhopadhyay [25], Kaur et al [26], Tiwari et al [27,28], Marin et al [29], Gupta et al [30,31], Kumar et al [32] also done studies on the Hall current effect and other theories of thermoelasticity. The literature survey revealed, however, that no research had been done on the transient examination of a semiconductor sphere exposed to ultrashort pulsed laser heating and photogenerated plasma under the Hall Effect.…”
