Plane symmetric solutions to the Einstein’s field equations with dark energy

Abstract: In this paper, we solve the Einstein's field equations for the space-time described by a special plane symmetric metric with dark energy, and the exact solutions which offer an alternative and complementary approach to study cosmological models are obtained. The dark energy is given by either the quintessence or the modified Chaplygin gas. We show the models are isotropic and analyze the expansion scalar and the deceleration parameter of the models.

“…Cappozziello [27], Felice & Tsujikawa [28], Zhai & Liu [29] have studied various aspects of f (R) theory of gravity in detail. Recently, Singh [30] have studied Functional form of f (R) with powerlaw expansion in anisotropic model. These are the motivations to consider f(R) theory of gravity by large number of researchers.…”

“…19,20 The Chaplygin gas model, which is seen as the combined effect of dark matter along with dark energy, is another option to the dynamical dark energy model. [21][22][23][24][25][26] Investigating the importance of attractiveness in the cosmos is important, given that the attractive field exists in the space between universes and plays very important role in cosmology. Melvin propose that matter was severely ionised during the creation of the cosmos also, because of the expansion of the cosmos, this matter is once more flawlessly united with the attractive field and builds unbiased matter.…”

“…Another alternative to dynamical dark energy model is Chaplygin gas model which is considered to be unification of dark matter and dark energy. In Chaplygin model, three different models namely standard Chaplygin gas, generalized Chaplygin gas and modified Chaplygin gas models given in [25][26][27][28][29][30].…”
