Planar Tetracoordinate Carbons in Allene-Type Structures

Abstract: <p>The exhaustive exploration of the potential energy surfaces of CE<sub>2</sub>M<sub>2</sub> (E = Si-Pb, M = Li, and Na) revealed seven global minima containing a planar tetracoordinate carbon (ptC).
