“…Wearing complete dentures over 5 years and longer periods has been shown to result in forward movement of the upper and lower incisor teeth, with an accompanying reduction in the overjet (Tallgren, 1969;Tallgren & Nash, 1980;Tuncay et al, 1982). While some workers have identified similar placement of artificial incisors when setting up to the expected position of natural teeth (Apfel, 1959), others have reported less obtuse angulation of teeth to the maxillary and mandibular planes with a consequent reduction in inter-incisal angle and a more upright position of teeth (Rayson et al, 1970). (iv) Reduction in lip support, or a less favourable lip contour, is to be expected from a reduction in proclination of the artificial incisor teeth.…”

U svojim istra`ivanjima Rayson koristi za komparaciju analizu prirodnih zubika Forsyth Dental Center-Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Rayson (1970) u svom istra`ivanju odnos ve{ta~kog donjeg sekuti}a u odnosu na osnovnu ravan donje vilice predstavlja UNUTRA[NJIM UGLOM (ugao B). Srednja vrednost prema Forsyth materijalu je X _ =91.…”
